I am Rashed Uddin applying for the BSc course at Roehampton University. I have finished my SSC and HSC from Dhanmondi Govt. Boys school and college with GPA 5.0. I have a history of working as a volunteer with NGOs in my country like BRAC and BURO Bangladesh. I personally like helping others and the poor people in my country which led me here wanting to pursue a higher degree in Human Resource Management so that hopefully I can make a change in the future for my country and the world.
Getting a BSc degree in Human Resource Management will help me gain to build a basis for a career in the HR sector for different organizations in my country like the ones that I have previously worked for. The course will help me gain more knowledge on managing people, and different operations and also give me ideas on marketing and finance. I have looked at the University of Roehampton’s course modules as well and found them to be perfectly suited for my career. The business psychology module will help me understand human psychology better in order for me to improve my convincing and business skills when it comes to dealing with others. The project management module will give me a deeper understanding of how to manage and work with different projects in my career life.

The course duration is also 2 years which is 4 years in my country. This way I can finish my course early, return to my country and start working on my career life. A degree from a UK university is highly privileged in Bangladesh therefore, it will help my CV stand out from others, and help me get my dream job.
Since Bangladesh is a developing country where poverty is a huge issue. Many Non-profit organizations are trying their best to develop the financial and economic condition of the poor people in Bangladesh. I would love to be a part of those organizations and help with them in order to help the poor people in my country. Once I come back to Bangladesh I am planning to work for different NGOs in my country in top positions such as BRAC and CARE Bangladesh which are the largest NGOs in my country.
I believe getting this degree will not only be helpful for me but also for my country as my dream is to work for the development of my country. I am hopeful that the University of Roehampton will allow me to study this BSc course in Human Resource Management which will be greatly helpful to achieve my dreams and goals in my life.
