How to apply for UK student visa from Bangladesh 2019

Required Document for Tier 4 visa: 

• Current passport
• Previous passport if used to travel to the UK
• Biometric Identity Card/Biometric Residence Permit for the UK – if you have one
• Previous academic qualifications (as listed on your CAS, this only applies for new students who applying before starting their course or within the first 6 months of their course)
• English test certificate (only if these are listed on your CAS, this only applies for new students who applying before starting their course or within the first 6 months of their course)
• If any documents are not in English: an official translation (see policy guidance paragraph 13 for more information regarding the requirements)
• bank statements (if self funding or if sponsored but sponsorship doesn’t cover all course fees and maintenance), see policy guidance paragraphs 175-179 and 181-184
• Birth certificate (of applicant – only if using parent’s bank statements )
• Letter of main applicant’s parent, giving permission to use their funds (only if using parent’s bank statements)
• If sponsored, the letter from your official financial sponsor (see policy guidance paragraphs 164-
• 167 and paragraphs 171-173)
• Completed data confidentiality form
• If you have to register with the police, the police registration form (ensure that your address is up to date)
• The appointment sheet which confirms that you paid £10 deposit for your appointment
• Credit or debit card to pay for your visa application If you are applying with dependants:

• Current passport for each dependant who has their own passport
• Previous passport(s) if used to travel to the UK
• Biometric Identity Card/Biometric Residence Permit for the UK – if your dependants have one
• 2 recent photographs (see photograph guidance for details on requirements) for each dependant, names of each dependant written on the back
• Birth certificate of dependent child (only if child was born in the UK and has not yet got a UK visa/if this is the first UK visa application
• Marriage certificate (only if this is the first visa application as the spouse of the main applicant)
• Bank statements (these can be in the main applicant’s name, the main applicant’s parent’s name – if the funds are in the dependant’s name only then this bank statement can only be used to cover maintenance for dependant only, the fund in the dependant’s bank statement cannot be used an evidence to cover main applicant’s fund), unless fully sponsored, and sponsor letter states that family is included in the sponsorship and the sponsorship covers at least £800 per month for main applicant and £450 per month for each dependant
• Police registration certificates for dependants (if applicable)
