I am Rafi Ahmed applying for the BSc in Information Technology course offered by the University of Hertfordshire. I passed my HSC and SSC with GPA 5.0 and now want to continue my studies further with my bachelor’s degree. I have been into technology ever since I had my first computer. I have learned python programming language on my own. I have built apps and web pages using python. Now, I would like to improve my knowledge, and skills even further. Getting a bachelor’s degree will be the first and most important step of my journey.
Studying this course will help me learn many aspects of computer science. This course will help me gain a deeper knowledge of how a computer system works or operates and also teach me about software development, and system administration. It will also help me become a critical thinker and learn to solve critical issues which will improve my problem-solving skills. I have looked at the course modules of this course and found them to be extremely helpful for my future career. The database system module will introduce me to different database systems and how to use them to your advantage to store important data. The Web Application Development and Deployment module will teach me the aspects of how the world wide web or www works and improve my coding skills needed for web application development. I believe studying this course will supplement my knowledge even further from what I have already gathered.

These are the main reasons why I have chosen to study this course at your university.
The UK is internationally known for its top-class education quality which it has been providing for many years. The UK is home to thousands of international students from my home country Bangladesh. I also have relatives and friends studying there and heard about UK education from them. Many of the top-ranked universities in the world university rankings are UK universities. In countries like Bangladesh a degree from the University of Hertfordshire, the UK is highly privileged. The quality of education in the UK is much higher compared to my own country and some other countries that I had taken into my consideration. If I got a bachelor’s degree from Bangladesh the course duration would be at least 4 years which is only 2 years if I finish the course at the University of Hertfordshire. This BSc course will open the door to many jobs at multinational companies in Bangladesh for me.
After returning home I am planning to look for jobs in my home country Bangladesh. I want to work as a software developer for renowned multinational gov and non-gov companies like BTRC, Tiger IT, Kazi IT, and more. Bangladesh is a developing country where technology is advancing day by day. This will create many job opportunities for students like me in near future. I believe I can use the knowledge gathered from the University of Hertfordshire to contribute to my family and country in the future. I am hoping to get accepted into your university. This will be a great experience for me to study with students from different countries around the world. I hope your university will help me achieve my dreams and goals in my life.
