Job Purpose:

As part of a team your role will be to manage the agent network and build the relationship with new partners.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to grow income above current levels in line with company income targets, and lead such partnerships through a broad range of funding opportunities with a high level of customer service to develop and maintain positive client and agent relationships.

Main duties and responsibilities

Marketing Communications

Website and other e-marketing communications:

  • Updating the companie’s Facebook and Twitter accounts
  • Updating information about the Company on external websites and directories
  • Creating fresh and up-to-date web content, to pass to the Web Development Officer and Web Designer as necessary
  • Providing ideas and input into the development of new e- marketing materials

Marketing collateral and publicity material:

  • Assisting the Marketing Manager in compiling media plans
  • Responsible for the Companie’s publicity stands and other event- support material- ordering new stock as required and ensuring the supply of stock to events
  • Selection and ordering of promotional merchandise for exhibitions and for use as corporate gifts
  • Managing the stock of all marketing collateral i.e. brochures; creating systems to identify when stock needs to be replenished

Public Relations:

  • Liaison with academic and administrative staff to request and collate information for in-house publications
  • Proactively searching out information for PR purposes and writing press releases
  • Liaison with, and providing information to, the media and arranging interviews with members of staff where necessary
  • Maintaining a photo library and arranging external photo shoots and filming with placement students and alumni as well as in-house photo shoots with School staff and students

Advertising (printed media, outdoor and new media):

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in booking, designing and tracking advertising for the company as required
  • Creative input into new advertising campaigns

Exhibitions and recruitment visits:

  • Coordinating the compabnies’s presence at exhibitions both nationally and internationally

Events:

  •  Assistance and coordination at Open Days of company/Spot admission

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience: Essential

  • First Degree or equivalent professional qualification (marketing)
  • Substantial experience of business development and the development of education in industry
  • Proven track record of developing, writing and securing bids for funding

Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Essential

  • Ability to rapidly establish credibility amongst wide variety of academic stakeholders*
  • Commercial experience and awareness*
  • Ability to assess and report on opportunities in a wide range of technology areas

Contract Information:

This is a permanent position and is available immediately.

Working hours:

This is a Full time opportunity (for internship 4 to 6 months)
